PITCHER’S MOUND AND BATTER’S BOXES

Mound clay and clay bricks from Mar-Co Clay are used in the construction, and rehab of pitcher’s mounds and batting boxes. Used together, they provide a playable, but wear resistant surface.

FIELD DRYING MATERIALS

We carry several options for those days when a rain out is not an
option. Use our Ready Play Dry Mats to remove any standing water on the infield or in the grass areas. Then apply Diamond Pro Calcined Clay Drying Agent or Turface Quick Dry and rake into the infield dirt in order to soak up moisture and stiffen the playing area.

INFIELD CONDITIONERS AND TOPDRESSING

The use of vitrified and calcined clays on infields is a great way to improve drainage, reduce rain issues, reduce compaction, and create safe professional playing fields. These conditioners can also be used to repair poor compacted grass areas like soccer goals and other poor drainage spots. Diamond Pro Double Play Conditioner gives you the best of both types of clays, by improving water absorption and compaction in one product.

LINE MARKERS

Athletic Field Marker and Diamond White Plus Chalk are line-marking products for infields. Athletic Field Marker is very price competitive while the Diamond White is top of the line white.

GRASS SEED & FERTILIZER

Using the proper grass seed mix is as important as picking the correct infield material. We have both a bluegrass/rye grass blend – Sports Mix and a turf type tall fescue blend – Playmaker. Both are created meet the demands of ball fields.
